										Abstract
This article is about Karl Marx’s critique of the liberal view of human rights – specially the right to freedom, property, equality and safety – declared by the bourgeois revolutions of the 17th and 18th centuries, on the essay “On the Jewish question”. Taking Marx’s reflection on the essay as a starting point, it analyses the author’s critiques of the political emancipation and the “rights of man and of the citizen” limits, as well as it’s distinction from the human emancipation.
