Abstract
Between 1870 and 1917, within the European revolutionary movement, discussions on the development of history turned to the Slav question and the Russian theme. Starting from the debates held in three and a half decades (1870-1905), we sought to interpret the originality of many of the Marxist interpretations that shaped the possibility of a backward revolution towards socialism before the actual conditions were given in October.
