Military tutelage and management standard of social apartheid in Brazil: speculative notes
Keywords:
Military, Exclusion, Politics
Abstract
This essay speculates about future possibilities for the Armed Forces referral to the outcome of deindustrialization that interrupted the military participation cycle in the politics constituted between the beginning of the Estado Novo (“New State”; 1937-1945) and the end of the military Dictatorship (1964-1985). Far from the potential construction project of Brazil, the ways of return to the condition of colonial Armed Forces and the configuration of the so-called 'market army' with a post-Fordist structure and network-centered hierarchy are opened.
