Abstract
This article aims, by means of the case study of an alleged kidnapping of a minor by anarchists, at highlighting the public presence of anarchist militants on São Paulo streets and workers’ neighborhoods, where, besides printing newspapers, they carried out walks and rallies, fastened posters, called for meetings, as strategies of establishing their political procedures and spreading their ideas among workers who lived in São Paulo city in the 1890s.
